Preparing for the Impact of Covid-19

Preparing for the Impact of Covid-19

COVID-19 Canton Group updates

Dear Clients, Friends, and Family of The Canton Group,

We understand that you depend on The Canton Group, and we take this responsibility very seriously. As we work as a community to respond and prepare for the impact of COVID-19, we want to share how we’re managing and addressing this fluid situation.

The health and safety of our employees, clients, partners and communities are our primary concern. There are several measures we are taking to ensure that we work safely to weather the storm while continuing to serve you. We are focused on helping one another, sharing and communicating openly and putting others’ needs ahead of our own. We will work through this together, no matter what challenges come our way.

The Canton Group is powered by exceptional people and we recognize our responsibility to support both their personal and professional lives. During this pandemic, we have taken steps to protect and support our employees and their families. We quickly mobilized and implemented new systems and measures. While conditions may sometimes be challenging, we are functioning at an exceptional level because it’s customary at The Canton Group to incorporate plans for resilience in everything we do!

No matter the season, we manage our company consistently with the principles that have been at our core for over 20 years. We are there for our employees, clients, partners and communities in good times and bad – we are a port in the storm. It is during the toughest of times that we need to be prepared to operate under extremely adverse circumstances. Those of you who are our clients know that our teams have been working tirelessly to ensure that the mission critical systems and operational functions that you have entrusted to us have remained up and running with no impact as a result of COVID-19. We will continue to provide the services that you depend on and trust.

The challenge’s presented by COVID-19 are like nothing else we’ve seen before in our lifetime. It doesn’t mean that we haven’t faced similar, large-scale challenges like this historically, but uncertain events that are outside of our control and that cause short-term, radical business and personal change are rare, especially when the changes are of global proportion. The impact of this event to all aspects of our lives is unprecedented. Governments and corporations are scrambling in order to maintain operational continuity with highly varied levels of capability and success. Families grieve for the loss of loved ones and try to maintain some semblance of normalcy to their daily routines. This crisis also creates further inequities in society so, it’s even more important that we be present for those in our communities that are hit hard by this pandemic.

The lasting effects of this pandemic have fundamentally changed how we live and work. It has become abundantly clear that the way we operated yesterday; won’t be how we operate going forward. Having the capability and capacity to function in a digital and virtual environment has become essential. We must innovate, adapt, overcome and evolve so that when the next challenge arrives, we are prepared.

The Canton Group is providing a number of resources to help organizations respond to the immediate impact of COVID-19 and to take steps to make their organizations more resilient from the devastating effects of future events like COVID-19. These resources can be found at www.cantongroup.com/covid19/ and will be updated periodically.

We are truly grateful for your support and partnership during this time as we all face this unprecedented challenge together. We are ready to help our employees, clients, partners and communities face this exceptional challenge. We will work through this together and we are proud to do our part.

Covid-19 Response Updates

Sincerely,

Ethan Kazi
CEO
