The Canton Group Quality Assurance Apprenticeship Program allows us to take students, graduates or technically-intrigued individuals under our wing to train them up within our Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle atmosphere. Your initial learning revolves around testing software, but over just a few short weeks, you will be exposed to business analysis, project management, and programming.
After 90 days, you are expected to have learned the following:
- Agile Development Lifecycle
- Test Planning and Execution
- Client requirements and User Story construction
- Team planning
- GitFlow and Source Control practices
- Test Automation using Katalon recorder and Nightwatch for Node.js (JavaScript)
Upon completion of the initial ninety-day training, you should have an idea of what area of development that you are most interested in. The Canton Group can then guide you into junior level positions within your chosen specialties.
