Our Project Management Practices are based on those defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). Through our project management practices, we have established a reputation for completing project assignments on time and within budget. We employ a project management structure that empowers the Project Manager with responsibility for technical deliverables as well as the successful execution of the project schedule and management of the project budget.
Regardless of project-specific technical focus, we utilize PM processes that are compliant with best practices as prescribed by the PMI. We also use Engineering Management processes that are compliant with best practices as prescribed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).
The WBS defines the total project work scope, and each descending level of a WBS represents an increasingly detailed definition of the work to be performed. The WBS is the foundation for project task definition, resource and performance planning, time and cost estimating, budget formation, and progress/performance tracking and reporting.
